Dysphagia Awareness Training for Students
At Wiltshire Farm Foods, we are passionate about the service and food we provide. Taking care of mealtimes is an important consideration for everyone, regardless of any challenges they may face such as Dysphagia (swallowing difficulties). That’s why we are continuously trying to raise awareness of Dysphagia, a condition which affects the daily lives of thousands throughout the UK.
As you might be aware, here at Wiltshire Farm Foods we have a wealth of experience of providing delicious food, including our award-winning Texture Modified Meals range to the elderly and the most vulnerable members of our society thereby helping them maintain independence and giving the possibility to stay in their own homes as long as possible. Through our university training programme, we share this experience by offering universities the option for the delivery of Dysphagia Awareness Training to prospective Dietitians, Speech & Language Therapists and Occupational Therapists.
